Ingredients

  • 4 Americana Gourmet Burger Buns
  • 4 tbsp pickled red onions
  • 3 spring onions, finely sliced

Miso Mayo: 

  • 60g mayonnaise (or vegan version)
  • 1 tbsp white miso
  • 15g fresh grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Asian Cucumber Salad: 

  • 600g cucumber
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 60ml rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Vegan Bean Burger Ingredients (or alternatively use store-bought as a time saver!): 

  • 270g black beans drained and rinsed
  • 60g sunflower seeds
  • 60g oats
  • 30g tomato paste
  • 1½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 65g onion chopped
  • 3 tbsp ground chia seeds + 60ml water
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp chilli pepper flakes
  • ¾ tsp sea salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped

Teriyaki Sauce (alternatively use a store-bought as a time saver!): 

  • 230ml of water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 120ml soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • Thickener: 2 tbsp cornstarch + 60ml cold water
